Homogeneous Mixing and Continuous Feed
The process begins in the mixing tank, where two counter-rotating agitators blend ingredients into a perfectly uniform slurry. Once mixed, the mass is pumped toward the extruder. This setup ensures that the cooking stage receives a steady supply of raw material for consistent product quality.
Buffer Storage with the Day Tank
Since extrusion is a continuous process and mixing is often batch-based, a water-heated day tank acts as a critical buffer. This jacketed vessel typically holds twice the volume of the mixing tank. It features its own agitator and level indicators to keep the slurry in optimal condition while ensuring the extruder never runs dry.
Seamless Maintenance and Filtration
To protect the equipment and ensure product purity, the unit includes a double filter station. This system is designed for high availability, allowing operators to switch and clean filters during active production. This eliminates the need for downtime during routine maintenance.
